This is the end of an era. An homage to the gearheads. The first glimpse of the future.

A legend like the Audi R8 deserves a proper sendoff. So, we turned to the fans that helped make this design a true worldwide icon. The Last Lap is a film co-directed by Audi’s millions of Instagram followers. From the daredevil maneuvers, to the thrumming music, to the immersive locations, we let fans of the R8 cast their votes to help decide how we film. We kept them close with behind the scenes updates and sneak peeks until the final, bittersweet reveal.

This was an extremely social heavy campaign spanning multiple months, with heavy audience participation and a wide variety of content captured and designed.
